Becca Shupe, Owner of Hifax Consulting talks about her transition from working as an “Employee” recruiter outside of the healthcare field to that of a successful “Owner/Operator”. She also discusses the infrastructure and support provided by Health Career Agents enabling her to work successfully from home.
Becca explains why she chose to be an Owner versus a Sales Consultant, the focus of her initial D.I.G. (Discipline, Industry and Geography) and how she started expanding her team of Sales Consultants.
Success came early as Becca focused on the fundamentals. Initially targeting Pharmacists, Becca landed an $85,000 placement and then set her sights on Senior Level Nurses. Becca explains in her words, the “rewarding challenge” of building her Sales Consultant team.
With six deals closing in September, multiple project management contracts in hand and Shared Placement activities working in the background, Hifax Consulting is on a strong growth path. Becca shares her goals for herself and her team into 2009.
