She also served as the director of communications and press secretary at the U.S. Department of Agriculture and managed a 100-person communications department.

Stuart Mathis joined Mail Boxes Etc., Inc. (MBE) in January 2001 as EVP of operations and became President in August 2002. Prior to joining MBE, he served as EVP of franchise operations for Domino’s Pizza Inc. In all, Mathis has more than 28 years of experience in franchising, operations and administration. Mathis currently serves on the board of the International Franchise Association.
