Jennifer Wu’s quest for capturing nature's elusive and sometimes unrecognized beauty has pushed her to embark on ever more challenging adventures throughout the Western United States and Europe. She scouts out ideal locations and waits for the wind, clouds, and light to all come together in a mystical way.
Her compositions tell the story of the transitional world as a beautiful place often with magical moments when anything can happen
For 20 years, Jennifer has professionally photographed weddings, portraits, commercial work and landscapes. Her love of nature photography is now her focus. Her award-winning fine art nature photographs have been exhibited at numerous galleries and juried art festivals throughout California.
In addition, she has taught numerous classes and workshops, including nature photography workshops with the Sierra Club photography section and digital imaging at Consumnes River College. Her images have been widely published in magazines, web sites and newspapers. She graduated with a BA in Photography from the California University of Sacramento.
