What listeners are saying
Gerry I listened to all 4 segments...it was very informative. I am going to refer this to my Mom as she basically is the caregiver to my sweet little Grandma. She is on Coumadin, but she is weak and tends to fall often. Up until she was admitted..of course against her will she would fall a lot and not call anyone. My mom would find her in various places of her house...always resulting in a trip to the hospital. She is now suffering with I would say acute to extreme dementia. (SP?) She usually falls and has to get stitches if found in time..but I think my mom would benefit from listening to your radio show. Thank you for sharing!! BTW Even though the entire box of your accreditations was full I thought of a few that were not listed!! I guess the box wasn't big enough for Dr. Gerald Graf.....Congrats on the show..I thought it was great!!!

Tonight our program features two guests who will tell their personal stories of depression and their road to recovery. We will touch on topics including suicide, depression, anxiety, domestic abuse, and substance abuse. Our goal is to let those who suffer from mental illness know that there is help for them. Most importantly, we want all the friends and families of those who suffer to better understand what their loved one is going through and how to best guide them to professional help.
You may contact either Dave or Lisa through Gerry Graf.
10/15 : 10/15/12 - The Holistic Approach to Medicine: Homework
The path to health and wellbeing can be a diverse approach. If health is at a life-threatening status, then the emergency room is the first line of defense. Tests, scans, emergency procedures, pharmaceutical medicines, and possibly surgery are generally the tools to effectively address the issues. After the emergency has passed and recovery is progressing, it is definitely time to examine and participate in a holistic approach to healing. Acupuncture is a powerful, natural form of medicine that the World Health Organization has found to effectively treat over forty conditions. Patients can also profoundly affect their state of well-being by eating a healthy diet, meditating, exercising and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
