04/14 : 04/14/14 Chronic Fatigue Relief!

The problem with chronic fatigue syndrome is inherent in its name. It is not a syndrome at all but a symptom that can have a number of causes. Standard of care seeks to label conditions or diagnose them. This is helpful, but not alone. Naming a symptom without addressing the cause will never result in remission! Remission and resolution can only happen when we understand not only the "what" but also the "why."

Chronic fatigue can be caused from inflammation but from various causes such as infection or toxicity. Chronic fatigue can happen due to oxidative stress or free radicals that impact the mitochondria.

Chronic fatigue could be based in the Endocrine system and stem from low thyroid or adrenal function. Chronic fatigue could also be a deficiency in certain nutrients such as amino acids, CoQ 10, Ribose and more. Chronic fatigue must be carefully mapped to find cause.

Until all of these areas are explored there is still hope for an answer to be done with fatigue and on to fit  and healthy!

04/07 : 04/07/14 Detoxification Through Sweating

Tonight we'll be discussing the benefits of detoxification through Far-Infrared Sauna Therapy.

One of our bodies three main mechanisms of detoxification is sweat, but not all sweating methods are created equal. Normal exercise or heat initiated sweating is beneficial but far-infrared heat that we normally receive from the sun's rays has a deeper more detoxifying effect. Far-infrared personal saunas carry the benefits of deep tissue cleansing in the comfort of lower temperatures (130-140 degrees) that allow you to sweat for 30 minutes to and hour vs. normal radiant heat saunas where temperatures can exceed 180 degrees.

Come discover how you can change your body chemistry with deep tissue far-infrared detoxification therapy.

03/24 : 03/24/14 Stressed Out and Adrenal Fatigued Part 2

The Adrenal Glands are located near the kidneys and produce hormones responsible for a variety of functions in the body. Among those produced are the steroid hormones Cortisol, and DHEA (Dehydroepianrosterone) which contribute to metabolism and the immune response. The production of these hormones can become altered by internal and external stressors and can result in a wide variety of disorders depending on which hormone is affected.

Measuring adrenals gives us a window into how our body's handle stress. If we are not handling stres well we can be more fatigued and at risk for a number of conditions. Measuring adrenal function is key for prevention and long term well-being. Adrenals respond extremely well to a number of different treatments, particularly botanicals and nutrients.
