11/12/12 - Unraveling the Confusion in Managing Prostate Cancer

6:00PM - 7:00PM

Prostate cancer is riddled with confusion on how to manage it. While 83% of all men will have some evidence of prostate cancer, only 3% will die from it. To compound the issue, the test that is most commonly done, a PSA has been revealed to be less reliable, and therefore less recommended than it was before. If a PSA is high, which could indicate cancer, does this mean the prostate should be removed? Removing the prostate is not without side effects. When a prostate is removed it can change urinary patterns, effect libido, and result in possible pain. Even if a prostate is removed, this does not guarantee a 100% cure rate of prostate cancer. What can we do to prevent being in this state to begin with? Are there natural ways to treat an elevated PSA? Yes, there are many answers that are safe and effective. Listen to tonight’s show to understand more about this condition that can affect 83% of men, and therefore 83% of families!
