Born into a Mexican circus family, Alex brings a small show to Vegas years ago.  Japanese visitors see and love the show and Alex and the show head off to Japan.  The show is still there but then Alex sees a great Japanese show, Matsuri, and he brings the Japanese show to Vegas.  &lt;br&gt;Matsuri opens Friday night, July 31, 2009, at the Imperial Palace and Casino on the strip. Hazama Kanpei, soon to turn sixty years old, is Japan&apos;s No 1 Comedian, and is at the half way point of his quest to run and sail around the globe.  &lt;br&gt;He&apos;s made it from Long Beach, California after sailing for 70 days in a 28-foot sailboat from Tokyo. In three days he will reach Central Park in New York City having a run a marathon six days a week.  Kathleen Blakely, past president of the Japan America Society of Nevada (JASN) and currently the Honorary Consul General of Japan in Las Vegas, enjoys her time talking with Kanpei as he rests in a small town only 120 miles East of New York City. </description>
