Lynn also continues to write about wine for several small publications and maintains a license as a wine merchant in the state of North Carolina, where she resides.

Rob Barnett, CEO & Founder of VinVillage.com and VinVillageRadio. After nearly twenty years as a technology entrepreneur and avid wine hobbyist and wine collector, Rob has turned wine entrepreneur. A San Diego resident since 1987, Rob has been chasing his love of wine since back in college during his short-lived jug wines phase. After many years of self-study, along with the knowledge he gained through a multitude of wine-pairings, tastings, classes and wine groups, along with experiencing the many different wine varietals and styles, Rob developed a strong passion for wine and the wine-lifestyle. And now as founder of both recently launched VinVillage.com, a social organization for wine enthusiasts, and VinVillageRadio, a talk-radio show focusing on all things wine and food, Rob has leveraged his vast technology background and his immense enthusiasm for wine to make it his profession.

Gary Vaynerchuk found his calling and fortune in the US but he was born and raised in Belarus. He learned his thunderous work-ethic from his father who operated a liquor store in New Jersey. Vaynerchuk is a freight train of passion for life, sports, and the family business which he, along with his father, steered in a new direction, specializing in wine. Now, the Wine Library wine store is one of the largest online wine retailers, due in large part to Wine Library TV where Gary encourages his audience to 'try everything at every price' and don't take his wine rating seriously.

Gary Vaynerchuk may be over-the-top but he knows it. Before we started recording I asked him, 'How are you today?, his reply..... a beaming "I AM EXCELLENT!" That pretty much sums up Vaynerchuk's attitude about life. This man, who some day hopes to own the New York Jets yet speaks of 'snuggly' and 'sniffy-sniff' puts himself out there as honestly and straight-forward as he knows how. If you don't know Wine Library yet you can catch a glimpse of the man online. Gary is a wine guru who's motivational style is, well, different. On the Ellen DeGeneres show he actually put dirt in his mouth; He licked a leather strap and a blue rock. If that doesn't catch your attention.... I don't know what will!

Peter Mitham of Wines and Vines online headlines..... 'Economists Question Real Value of Wine' and 'Author describes sting of Wine Spectator (restaurant) awards to indicate perceptions may rest on false inferences.' These are exciting times when a young wine writer creates a fictitious restaurant presence online, a fictitious food and wine menu and submits the application for a prestigious international award to question what's really going on in the WS glass castle. I'm surprised that no one has thought up this caper before! Robin Goldstein has something else up his sleeve. We'll just have to wait and see.

In Robin Goldstein's new book, "The Wine Trails", he set out to disprove the standard theory that wine price indicates wine quality. After 500 volunteer tasters, from average, non-regular wine consumers to wine experts, sipped 540 different wines, with prices ranging from $1.50 to $150, the results were astounding for some (predictable for me) that the less expensive wines consistently outranked the pricey ones in blind taste tests across the country.
