New Hampshire was made for road trips. From coastal roads that overlook crashing surf to mountain roadways that wind through the Northeast's highest peaks and historic routes that follow early Native American trails. New Hampshire's roads are undeniably scenic - and the distances between destinations are never long. During the show we discover what's just up the road: some great ways to travel through the countryside to explore the timeless villages and fascinating small cities, rolling farmlands and deep green forests, soaring mountains and sparkling rivers, lakes and ponds. We also talk about must see stops including historic sites, lively arts, family attractions and more outdoor recreation than you could fit into any one vacation.

Whether you're looking for a relaxing lakeside getaway, a week of antiquing and outlet shopping or a fun-filled road trip or adventure, autumn in New Hampshire is an experience you won't want to miss.

The Mt. Washington Bed & Breakfast is a Federal style farmhouse that was built by Charles & Bertha Philbrook in the late 1800's. The B & B is the perfect jumping off point for all sorts of great outdoor adventures around the area. It sits in the Androscoggin River Valley on a hill overlooking the Androscoggin River and Reflection Pond. Since you are surrounded by the White Mountains all the rooms have wonderful views. As you relax on the porch, you can gaze at Mount Washington and even see smoke from the Cog Railway as it makes its way to the highest peak in the Northeast (6288 feet!). Wildlife viewing and bird watching while visiting here just comes with the territory!

Americans spend over $11 Billion a year on self-help programs. The 2006 movie The Secret alone grossed over $300 million. Every one of these programs tell you to use "affirmations" like: "I am happy, I am rich, I am getting better and better." In Noah St. John’s book, The Secret Code of Success: 7 Hidden Steps to More Wealth and Happiness he explains some of the myths which seem to hold people back. In April 1997, Noah asked himself a simple question: "Why are we making statements that we don't believe when the human mind automatically responds to QUESTIONS?" That's how he discovered AFFORMATIONS - empowering questions that are creating remarkable results for people across the country.
