Carl’s new book “Above All Else- The Minuteman Struggle To Secure America’s Borders” was released this week and he wants to introduce you to two of the major players in the Minuteman Movement. Al Garza, National Executive Director of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps was the first guest answering questions about his Hispanic heritage and how an American of Mexican descent came to lead the nations largest Minuteman group.
Al Garza continues his explaination of how the group was formed and why, along with plans for the future. He answers questions about specific challenges the Minutemen have encountered with opposition groups as well as the Federal Government. He leaves no doubt as to the Minuteman intentions going forward.
Carl is joined by Jeff Schwilk, Founder of the San Diego Minutemen, an independent group focused primarily on internal security efforts. His organization stages protests and rallies against illegal day labor sites. Jeff shares some of his harrowing experiences at these events and answers questions on why he chose to specifically take on the Catholic Church and their support for illegal immigration.
Jeff stays on for another segment and discusses the well known “McGonigle Canyon” incident and how his group was involved in exposing illegal day labor camps rampant with drugs and prostitution and adjacent a prominent San Diego neighborhood.
