Craig Dawson ’73, the USNA head squash coach, and Admiral Steve Abbot ’66, co-chairman of the Friends of Navy Squash, joined Chet on the show to continue the discussion of how Navy athletics continues to grow and improve, particularly in the number of Varsity sports and the quality of the sports facilities.
Coach Dawson and Amiral Abbot remain on the show to discuss Navy’s excellent squash program, including the upcoming dedication of the Halsey International Squash Courts Facility and the continued support of the Friends of Navy Squash.
Lieutenant Derek Dryden ’00, the O-Rep for “Team Bill,” joins the show to discuss the history of the USNA mascot, Bill the Goat. Lieutenant Dryden also provided an update on the two new “kids” (Bill XXXIII and Bill XXXIV) and answered the age-old question of whether or not the elder Bill XXXII was truly old and gnarly.
