Jeff and Gini interview a very intelligent, outgoing and tan Liberty Harper, VP of Franchise Operations for iTan Franchising. Liberty is experienced as both a franchisee as well as a franchisor, and understands all aspects of the franchise industry. Previous to beginning and managing Liberty Fitness until 2007, Liberty served as a double franchise co-owner with Curves International beginning in 1998, receiving the prestigious Franchisee of Year Award in 1999. Liberty has fine-tuned her focus on international support and training, having worked with franchisees in Dubai , India , Kuwait , China , Singapore , Korea and Qatar after specializing as a franchise services consultant. Most recently Liberty has joined iTAN Franchising, Inc as their Vice President of Franchise Operations. Ms. Harper-Simonsen is also heavily involved in the 16-Chair Women's Franchise Committee of the International Franchise Association . She lead the formation of the WFN of Austin, Northern California , and now serves as the co-chair of the WFN of San Diego . She serves on the membership committee and as an ambassador for the IFA.
