He is Director/Senior Research Scientist at the Myers Research Institute in Cleveland, OH, where he and his staff develop cognitive and behavioral interventions for use with persons with dementia. He has co-authored three college textbooks and published over 100 articles—and his research is currently funded by grants from the National Institute on Aging, and the National Institute of Mental Health.
