Since retirement, he has been Executive Secretary, American Academy of Diplomacy, and Chairman of Political Tradecraft Programs at The National Foreign Affairs Training Center. He lectures, teaches, and provides media commentary for domestic and foreign governmental, civic, educational and business entities.
