BetterPhoto Instructor, Ibarionex R. Perello is a writer and photographer who has over 15 years worth of experience in the photographic industry. For six years, he was the associate editor for Outdoor Photographer, PC Photo, and Digital Photo Pro magazines. He was a technical engineer for Nikon Inc. for 8 years where he provided technical support and training on both film and digital technologies.

Ibarionex also hosts and produces “The Candid Frame”, an audio podcast where he interviews the best professional and emerging photographers in the world. The bi-weekly podcast is available by visiting www.thecandidframe.com.

His personal photographic projects include a 5-year documentary project that focused on Broadway in downtown Los Angeles. He is currently producing a series of portraits on established and emerging writers of Southern California.

John Siskin is a commercial and fine art photographer who makes architectural, portrait and macro images. He has worked for General Motors and Disney Studios. He has taught photography for more than twenty years. He is currently teaching studio lighting black and white photography at Los Angeles Mission College. His studio is in Reseda California and more of his work can be seen at www.siskinphoto.com
His work has been part of many exhibits. His photographs have been shown at the Brand Library, 2nd City Art Gallery, Harold’s Gallery, Farmani Gallery, and The Atelier. He has been a participant in the Valley Studio Tour several times.
John has published quite a number of technical articles about photography. His articles have appeared in Photo Techniques, View Camera, Studio Photography and others. He has written about photographic lighting, building lenses, framing, photographic lab work, building cameras, as well as some more speculative photographic subjects. Since he is so well versed in photographic subjects, he is often hired as a consultant by businesses.

Sean has shot over 200 assignments for Sunset, & authored numerous feature articles displaying his photography.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Commercial photography from Brooks Institute of Photography, & began his business Arbabi Imagery thereafter combining outdoor, on-location, and studio photography.
Recently , he landed two travel guidebook covers, a pair of magazine covers, a catalog cover, & wrote four feature articles, all the while beginning work on a television pilot about photography. He is also writing a 300-page book entitled "Exposure Photo Workshop" , due to appear on the shelves in August 2007
