About the Hosts:
Gretchen Magers and Lindsey Buechler are the reigning Champs of The San Diego Stop on the Professional Beach Tennis Tour. They were Semifinals at the National Beach Tennis Championships in 2007 and are looking forward to another summer of professional beach tennis in 2008.

Some of Gretchen’s highlights in her competitive tennis career are World Junior Champion in 1982, 4 Time All-American and NCAA doubles champion, Pan Am Games Gold Medalist in 1983 , US Olympic Team Member in 1984 LA Games and ten professional tour titles in singles and doubles. She was a quarterfinalist in singles at Wimbledon, French and US Open and reached the finals of mixed doubles at Wimbledon. Gretchen is currently one of the top national players in the over 40 category. She has represented the United States in International Team Cup the last 3 years.

Lindsey Buechler is no stranger to the airwaves. She has been a volleyball correspondent for Xtra sports radio with Steve Hartman and a color commentator for ESPN Beach Volleyball Broadcasts. Lindsey’s was a star indoor volleyball player earning California High School Player of the Year honors before moving on to the University of Arizona. After college, Lindsey began playing beach volleyball and was the winner of Amateur World Championships in Santiago, Chile 1993. Lately, Lindsey has taken up tennis and become a force in ladies league play in San Diego.
