author of nine books. He’s served as a state director of both
the American Cancer Society and American Lung Association,

editor of the "Lung Cancer Update" newsletter. He began writing
his most recent book, "Avoiding Lung Cancer", after his wife
Kathie was misdiagnosed a little over a year ago as having
lung cancer.
